First time at the metro staff are amazing so friendly such a chilled place really enjoyed my littke break defo go back rooms clean bed comfy defo would reccomend
Very poor and dated hotel. Rubbish bed felt like sleeping on the floor. Room was so noisy from the traffic outside. Bathroom was dirty and very dated. Had hair in the bath. Outside was dirty lift wasn't working too. Always had some joker's smoking weed in the hotel room could smell it in my room. Told the guy at the desk he said sorry but didn't care. Paid over 50 for the room wasn't even worth half that. Don't stay here
Food is excellent but the wait times are silly, we tried to call and place a phone order so we didn't have to hang around to pick up our takeaway but they simply don't answer ... might have to find a new Saturday night takeaway unless they can improve the order and wait times and maybe start taking phone orders.
Good sized double room Clean linen. Wonderful Reception service . Tea, coffee and Milk in ample supply. On the downside . Curtain rings loose . No shampoo or soap but we can bring our own so that's fine . Heater falling off the wall. Bathroom bath peeling badly and was told awaiting replacement.. Lift out of order . Heater not working. Rooms cold. No eating facilities apart from Indian Bar and Grill.so forget the Continental breakfast you were dreaming of . However has lots of potential for the future Just needs doing up.
This visit was disappointing, firstly our room had not been cleaned/changed there was a used towel on the floor and the bed was obviously left as it was after having been slept in. We were moved to another room however there was something wrong with the electrics as they only worked on one side of the room. Pretty noisy too as we could here another room's bathroom fan. Generally the hotel fits the 2 star description and the price reflects that but I have to say I would rather pay an extra 20 quid for a travel lodge room.
