The restaurant was cold, however my room is so hot, that even after turning the radiator off at 2100 and leaving the window open I cannot sleep - it is 0410 early February, and I don't need to get up til 0700.The bar staff didn't know what Rioja was, i had to get behind the bar and point out the bottle, and the very nice waitress struggled to take a dinner service for twelve people. She also didn't understand a what medium rare was. She kept saying 'medium to rare'. Dumbfounded.......

Stayed at the Baron Court Hotel Saturday night with a National Holiday excursion. The staff were very friendly and efficient particularly the lady in charge of the dining room staff. We had a 3 course evening meal served by the staff and self service breakfast all of which I enjoyed. The rooms were clean and had the usual hair dryer tea n coffee making facilities. My only reservation was my friend who is in her 80's couldn't use the bath as it was quite deep but other than that I would recommend this hotel.
Staff not very friendly well over priced drinks the toilets were a disgrace dirty and messy. I suggest that there house keeping do there job properly. Surely a hotel that caters for weddings etc REGULARLY monitor and check the toilets. Very modern looking reception. Need more staff to serve customers when they have numerous bookings and also have parties of people
