One thing Ive got too give credit to these boys. I purchased my car 3 months ago. As my warranty was going to end engine light came on. I phoned Adam and told him there was a problem. Warranty company said the item was not covered under warranty. I was stressed because I dont know much bout cars. Adam was great he gave me his personal car too drive for 2 days so I could pick my kids up from work. That was so so nice of him. He spoke too warranty company for me and behold the warranty company offered to pay for the part. Not labour which was a result for me. Adam paid for labour and I was shocked because he didnt need too. He took my stress on himself and fixed my car. Washed it for me. Too be honest was right state with the kids. Such a lovely bloke. I definitely recommend dealing with him. Such a nice guy. True sense of customer service. May god bless you. And indefinitely recommend you too family friends as Ive never seen a garage go above and beyond. Adam thanks a lot.
I purchased a Volvo 7 weeks ago from this dealer. The gentlemen that sold it to me was only looking after the garage whilst his Nephew was on holiday - he couldn't have been more helpful. There was no pressure sale at all from him and i was happy with his service. That's where the good stuff ends for me...The vehicle itself broke down 7 weeks after purchase and required a 1000 clutch and flywheel fix - which was not covered by the Warranty they supply as it is classed as a 'wear and tear' item. The Volvo garage contacted Walsall Motor Company on my behalf to see if there could be any refund or compensation regarding this and was told that they were rude and unhelpful. This has really disappointed me, i have been left with a 1000 bill which is not what you expect when you purchase a car with a warranty from a 'respected' garage. To add insult, upon purchase, i was told that the car had received a full service, when we asked for the paperwork and why the book had not been stamped we were told that they are always forgetting to stamp the book but assured me that it had been carried out and handwrote this on the invoice. The oil in the car is filthy and it has definitely not seen a service, so that will be an additional cost.The brakes on the front have only 20% wear left on them and there is a problem with the lower nearside front arm as well. All in all, to get the car i bought in full good condition it will be a total cost of 1600.Now, i am aware that buying second hand vehicles comes with some risk and that cars do and will always have issues. The smaller issues such as the service, the pads are known wear and tear items that are expected at some point. I don't have to much discrepancy with these.However, additionally with the clutch and flywheel giving up causing a huge bill, and being told of how rude they were has really disappointed me and for this reason i wouldn't recommend a car from here. A little support or co-operation with my Volvo dealer trying to fix it would have been greatly appreciated. I was chuffed with the garage and the car at first but have since felt let down.Shame.
