Not my local post office but popped in to send my parcel and I normally post packages with prepaid recorded stamps and they almost refused it because I didnt have the orange label which displays the barcode for signed for,I explained that there is no requirement to stick the label as this is done at the counter by staff. I have never been asked by my local office and have sent numerous packages before without any hassle (was willin to show evidence of past receipts) after talking my way through she insisted that she will send it as a business transaction this time only, never coming here again clearly staff are not trained this is a sub-post office they have no idea they just want to sell you postage over the counter as they dont make money with prepaid labels.
Not sure why this post office is rated so highly by other users, service is slow and pathetic.I asked when my special delivery would arrive at its destination and the lady behind the counter said "have you not used a post office before" she was very rude and not helpful at all.The post office has a strange smell and items are not stacked very neatly at all, the place is horrible.
