Far too much uncollected dog poo. A shame because it's an interesting design for a relatively small park, with a large variety of different areas - under trees, a winding path, open spaces, keep-fit areas, little copses... Could be lovely - the place is nice, but needs to be better respected by some of the people using it. Ample free parking.
A pleasant area for children to play. There are walks around the edge that are suitable for dog walking and being a responsible dog owner myself it was pleasing to see that there was no dog poo left uncollected. I saw quite a few dog owners on my visit. There were play areas for children around the park. If you visit don't expect large flower beds as there are none, but having said that it is still very good.
Great. Park to excerise by walking and running or kids can play in the playground
Walk my dog here regularly, good park for children. Good parking
Great large maintained grass fields, ideal for dog walkers, sports and jogging. One circuit measures one mile. Has free parking up to certain times. Rugby and football goals are set up. Lots of cricketers also play here. Occasional summer fairs also set up here. Usually you'll find an ice-cream van parked up too in warmer months, ideal for parents of young children as a play area of slides and claiming frames are here. For younger adolescents a small skate area is available too.
