Great real ale pub. Such a brilliant wide choice. From Norfolk visiting friends it's very akin to Norwich's Fat Cat Pubs.
Nice pub. Interesting architecture inside. Good drink selection and nice food.
Hadn't been in since they modernized it. It's still a good place to drink & have a meal or snack.
This Pub should be an institution. It's been here long before all the other shops and outlets in Walsall. It's decor is a throwback to a much different time. It's not exactly time-travelling but you can get lost staring at all the photos on the wall of how Walsall and the surrounding areas used to look over 100 years ago. I happened to be having their Christmas lunch which was delicious however, it didn't leave me with that "Stuffed-Christmas" feeling. It could benefit from having a carvery. Nice place to kill some time.
